Less than a month ago, I was instructed to organize a golf tournament cum a farewell event for somebody that is quite important to our organization.

I have zero knowledge in golf, but what the heck, life is a learning process. Besides, not like I'm given a chance to refuce the task anyway.

JE datang lagi, ada satu fatality kes di Kuching melibatkan seorang budak berumur 19 tahun di Haji Baki.

Baru teringat yang Eugene belum habiskan dose dia, Emmett dah selesai dah.

Lepas breakfast on saturday, saya call B. teo clinic, diorang cakap ada stock boleh datang terus.

Lepas bersiap kami pun ke klinik. Sebelum tu kena pujuk Eugene dulu, sebab dah besar, dah tau melawan.

Nasib baik masa kena cucuk tu dia tak melawan, tapi air mata tetap keluar.

Ha.. Ni la umpan dia..

Cold War (2012)

Dah berkurun tak tengok cerita cina kat cinema.

Kali ni kita layan Cold War, ala-ala Internal Affairs camtu la cerita dia.

Boleh tahan juak Aaron Kwok dalam tu, hubby cakap dah nampak macam George Clooney, maybe sebab gray hair dia kot.  Teringat dia menari dalam Para-para Sakura (2001) dulu..

Ok, kali ni kite tak nak cerita pasal Aaron Kwok.

Kita nak cerita pasal Aarif Rahman aka Aarif Lee.  Rahman was born in Hong Kong, his father is of Malay-Arab-Cantonese ancestry, while his mom is a Hongkonger.

Bukit Beruang; suatu ketika dahulu pernah menjadi tempat persinggahan dalam perjalanan hidup ku.

Banyak juga kenangan pahit manis di sini.

At the beginning, kehadiranku di situ bukan lah atas pilihan ku sendiri - takdir menentu segala.

Walaupun bukan atas kemahuan ku, tapi daku pernah bahagia di sini, tempat nie memang best, terutama sekali bab makan..yummy.

Selalu gak nak try makan kat sini, tapi kalau datang masa peak hours, memang takde tempat.

So kali ni kami datang awal, dalam pukul 11.15am, 1st customer gitu. Order kami siap dalam 15-20 min kemudian, lambat sikit sebab oven belum cukup panas (kata si waiter la).

Penantian yang berbaloi.

Ribs tu sedap, anak-anak pun suka. Tapi broccoli tu macam kurang rasa sikit.

Wat Tan Hor and Pork Rib King

What is the different between Wat Tan Hor and Cantonese kuey teow? Honestly I dunno, or maybe they are referring to the same thing.

Whenever I'm in Malacca I will order Wat tan hor, and never Cantonese kuey teow.  While in Kuching, I'll have Cantonese kuey teow only. I think Wat tan hor is generally sticker than the Cantonese style. Nonetheless, both also taste great.

So this is what we had on our 2nd night in Malacca.
