Price is definitely cheaper than those that I used to have in KL.  1st bite was heavenly with crunchy outer layer of the meringue.  But further in, you will get this hard rock sugar candy texture.  Sigh..

Red velvet cake - RM11

One word - too sweet.

We can't finish either one of the above.

For drinks, we had ice blended, mocha and cookies crumble, again too sweet, but taste good.

Ok, not really a good 1st experience for us, but we will come back to try their pancakes, looks great on their promo pictures!

In my garden: Lemongrass in a pot

The lemongrass that I planted in a flower pot few months ago has grown so big, I can hardly see the pot anymore.

Kitto loves the plant.

Today, I am making some lemongrass tea.  I only need lemongrass, pandan leaves and rock sugar.  Boil them together.  

Arghh so nice to have a glass of warm lemongrass tea on a rainy sunday morning.  Feels like I was transfer back to Siem Reap for awhile there..

Benefits of lemongrass tea are endless, but here are some of them..

Not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding mom ya.

Akhirnya, berjaya juga kami meluangkan masa untuk datang mencuba mee mangkok yang 'happening' ni.

 

This boat noodle cost RM1.50 per bowl. Taste a bit sour from of the chili paste, not too spicy, I love it.

I also tried their delicious Soda herbs, cost RM6.50.  The drink consists of soda, laici, lemon grass and mint leaves.

I was surprised to find out that the father of the owner was my ex-colleague,  after work he will come to help making the drinks.  I am so happy for them, the business is good, they created something new in the town, and make many happy tummies too :) 

Overall, me and hubby love it.  But the kids not so.  You can ask for no chili noodle but my kids still don't like all the herbs.  Its going to be an issue for us, next time we will get them fed 1st before me and hubby come for a fest here.
