This hotel is conveniently located at IOI Mall, Putrajaya, making shopping incredibly easy.
Beyond the mall, what I love most about this hotel is the vibrant atmosphere, especially in the lobby. There are numerous fun activities, including a pool table, foosball table, congkak, chess, game box, and live performances at night.
There is also plenty of seating. The check-in counter is connected to the bar, so you can order beverages while relaxing in the lobby. The check-in staff wear uniform sweaters, which look fun and less formal.
The room was great too, though the only drawback was the stiff bed.
I’m sure we’ll be back here again soon.
I spent 5 days and 4 nights at the Hilton Garden Inn, Puchong earlier this month.
Everything about the hotel was excellent - clean room, fast check-in process, and yummy breakfast. However, the only downside was its
location. Despite being supposed to be connected to a mall, the mall was
virtually empty.
My room was on the 16th floor, Room No. 1621.
The view from my room was facing the housing area. Can you see the LRT Puchong Perdana Station, with the white roof in the middle?
My daily breakfast.
And on the morning of my last day there, I had a good swim in the pool on a rainy day. It was so calming, with no one else sharing the pool.
Will I be staying at this hotel again? For personal trips - no, but for business trips, why not, when you only need a good place to sleep.
For this trip, we rented a car from the airport. The plan was to avoid people (on public transport) since we were just out of our MCO.
Day 1, we overnight at Clio Hotel Sunway City.
Our 1st meal, Xiao Long Bao from Din Tai Fung.
For dinner, we had ribs, burger and pasta at TGIF. Was planning to have dinner at Chillis but the queue was too long.
Then we watched midnight movie / Top Gun Maverick. We back went to our after 1am tgat night.
On the next next morning we went for a swim, and then Emmett wanted to try ice skating.
While Emmett and daddywent skating, Eugene and Mummy went to try Taco Bell while looking over at the Sunway Lagoon.
After skating, we went to buy drinks at Black Whale.
We had our late lunch at Menya Miyaki Hokkaido Ramen.
We were attending a function in Pavilion that night, so this is the nearest hotel to Pavilion entrance.
When we reach there around 1pm, our room were not ready yet, so we were invited to wait at the club floor in the 18th floor.
Nice view from the 18th floor.
The hotel lobby.
From Ipoh we went back to Selangor and stayed at One World Hotel, One Utama.
2 main reasons why we chose this hotel:
1. One Utama area is somewhere we seldom go, I think 1 only been to this area twice before.
2. There's an MRT station next to the One Utama mall. We wanted to ride on the MRT as we have never been on it before.
We had a pleasant stay here, the room is big and clean, connecting to the mall, easy assess to parking spaces.
Our room on the 3rd floor.
We can see the swimming pool from our room, but due to our limited time, we don't have time for a swim.
Breakfast was great too.
Would love to be back here soon, as I did not manage to explore all of One Utama mall, it was so big and confusing.
For our 1st night, we stayed at Sunway Clio Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
The reason why we chose this hotel was that it's new*, we never stayed here before, and conveniently link to the Sunway Pyramid shopping mall. A few years back we stayed at the Tower Hotel, now known as the Sunway Pyramid Hotel, so this time we wanted to try the Clio Hotel.
*This hotel opens in Feb 2016, considered new to us, that's how long we have not been to Sunway.
We’re glad that we did, good size room, nice view, clean room. No complaints from us.
The lobby.
Our room on the 20th floor.
The washroom.
Great view from our room, and a nice pool on the 8th floor too.
Plenty of parking, which is also accessible from the Mall, with a minimal fee of RM15 per day.
