My 1st gym membership card

I finally sign up for a gym membership.  

I am not really a gym person, the longest I stayed in a gym was only 30 minutes per session.

Last month when I went to a clinic due to my fever, the doctor informed me that my blood pressure is quite low.  After reading some dos and don't on the internet.  I still am clueless on the cause and cure for low blood pressure.

What I know is that my stamina has deteriorate so much lately.  I don't even get excited to go shopping anymore due to the lazily of walking around.  But I get very excited when it comes to food hunting tho ;)

Ok, back to my gym story.  This particular gym is having a promotion at the moment.  According to them, if you signup this month, you are entitle for the promotion price like forever!  Hmmm..  How can I resist that?

Plus the gym is so near to my house, small size gym with not too many patron.  The only thing I don't like about it, is that they always put on a loud techno music!

I am determined, once I know whose who, I will get them to change the music.  I think Hitz.fm would be a better choice, what to do think?

Shopping.. but not in Langkawi

Today, we are supposed to fly to Langkawi for our 3rd gate-away in 2014.  However due to the route suspension between Kuching-Langkawi, we are stucked here in Kuching for the weekend.

This Langkawi trip was a most anticipated one, I had planned a complete shopping list of must buy things in Langkawi.  The list consist of kitchenware, glasses, sport wear, beach wear, chocolate, wine, etc.

I was very disappointed when I got the message from AirAsia in July saying that our flight is being cancelled.  Of coz they did offer us for a re-route thru KLIA2.  But I rather not waste our time and energy to take the connecting flight for the trip.

Now,  let see where should I go and mend my broken heart tomorrow? Spring? Merdeka Plaza? CityOne? Zalora? Lazada? Hmmm..

Super excited

Kami jumpa scorpion ni di luar rumah masa pagi tu, daddy dah cucuk ekor dia and biarkan jer kat luar.  Bila kami balik petang, scorpion tu dah kering tapi shape masih elok lagi.  Apalagi Eugene dengan excited nyer membuat pemerhatian dan kajian ke atas scorpion tu.

Minat betul la Eugene dengan benda-benda animals n insects ni.
Mummy tengok pun geli.

Family Suite at Kemena Plaza Hotel

Kemena Plaza Hotel, Bintulu, formerly known as Regency Hotel.

This is a Family suite in Kemena Plaza Hotel, Bintulu.

 

It has..

• A king size bed + 2 single beds
• A living area with sofa set, table and TV
• A study/working table and chair
• And other usual hotel rooms facilities/amenities

Pros:

• Room size is big
• Location

Cons:

• The aircond is making an irriting noise.
• No lock on the bathroom door.
• Wifi in the room not reliable.
• TV channels not clear.

When we checked-in, we were told that our room is not ready yet, after waiting for more than an hour we finally got our keys to the room, but to our surprise, there was already another person in that room.  Adoi.. reception, how can you make such mistake!

One the last, we asked the hotel to arrange a taxi to send us off to the airport.  The taxi arrived 10 minutes late, and we had a 20 minutes heart-stopping-roller-coaster ride to the airport. What an experience.

Borneo International Kite Festival 2014

I attended the 10th Borneo International Kite Festival in Bintulu last month.

It was my 1st time there, I was so impress with all those beautiful kites, and the sport kites competition were not what I expected, it's like the kites were dancing to the music.
I really enjoyed it.

 It is such a fun family activity; my only problem is the heat.

To avoid the heat, it is best to go around 5pm.

Remember to bring your cap and sunglasses too ;)

My travel buddies bought cap for themselves, it just too sunny here in Bintulu.

This daily night market is located somewhere nearby the Old Bintulu Airport.  That's where the Borneo International Kite Festival is held annually.
