Awah Cafe @ DBNA, Kuching

Awah Cafe is located at DBNA headquarters at Jln. Kumpang, Kuching.

This cafe not only serves authentic Bidayuh cuisine, but chinese style food as well.

Last week we went there for dinner, we had the usual kids choice..

Cangkuk manis with egg - Eugene's favourite.

Chicken lemon, kami request lemon sauce diasingkan, sebab Emmett tak suka sauce.

I'll reserve my comments on this cafe coz it is own by my sister and her friends.  You will have to check it out yourself and try their Bidayuh signature dishes such as Sambal Serai, Soup Terung Asam and preserved pork too.

The cafe opens daily except on Sundays.

Eugene 1st visit to dentist

Eugene at 8 years 4 months old.

His 1st visit to dentist.  The school dental clinic doesn't count ya :)

Dia buat 1 filling kat gigi geraham susu.  Doctor advice better buat filling, nanti boleh la gigi susu tu tahan lagi untuk beberapa tahun.  Lagi pun kalau tengok pattern gigi Eugene ni jenis lambat tumbuh, gigi lateral incisor yang sepatutnya tumbuh umur 7 tahun, sekarang baru nak keluar dari gusi.  

Mummy ikut jer advise doctor, Eugene at 1st nyer reluctant, lepas dipujuk akhirnya setuju gak. Total cost RM55.

Sando Ramen @ ST3, Kuching

Sando Ramen is located on the ground floor of ST3 Shopping Mall in Kuching.

Our 1st time here, we had..

Sando ramen - The smell of the bamboo shoot is quite strong

• Facial nyer boleh la tahan.

Emmett and his crocs

Emmett at 5 years 5 months; his latest passion..

The smallest crocs in the middle, we bought that during our last visit to Jong's Crocodile farm; then he requested for 1 more, and another 1 just last week.

Sometimes he plays sleeping with them, sometimes he bathed them, sometimes he even dreams about them.

I don't know how many more of this creature we will have until he finds a new obsession.

Rumah Hijau Cafe @ Satok now opens at night too, from 6pm to 11pm.  Off on every Friday.

On top of that, they also served their famous Nasi Ayam Penyet at RM8.

We try their Nachos for the 1st time. Cost RM7.

1st week of 2015

There goes the 1st week of 2015.

Let's see what had taken place throughout the week..

1.  I started my Hay Day farm on 1st Jan.   I'm now at level 18.  Emmett join me in this game, while Eugene prefers COC with his daddy.  I just need something to prevent myself from checking social media channel too often whenever I'm online.  Lame excuse. I know.

2. Spent some time with my real plants.  Time to change the pots and the soil.

3. Clear up the store room; to make way for new garbage.

3. Watched - The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

4. Last but not least, we have a new CEO, which means new strategies, new direction, new rules.

And, I guess its not too late to wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Lunch at Sakae Sushi

Lately my kids keep on requesting to have sushi for their lunch or dinner.

So today we went to have lunch at Sakae Sushi, Merdeka Plaza.

Janji, anak-anak happy, kita pun happy.

Ajisen Ramen

This ramen is a bit too salty for me.  Eugene likes it but Emmett doesn't.

Service was fast; maybe because not many customers at the time.  Will definitely coming back when I'm craving for pork ramen.
