The 1st time was in 2014, and that time it was called the Harbour Cafe; now the Four Happiness.
We ordered - Mee Sua, of coz.
This
time we did not have to wait long, there were only a few people in the
cafe, I wonder what happened, business not doing well?
For the Mee Sua, as you can see, the color is not that 'red', but you can add in the Red Wine on yourself, which I did, lots of it, and it tasted good.
Mee Sua - RM7
Roti bakar - RM1.50
Where have all the people gone to?
Updated May 2022: This place is closed down and change to a new cafe.
This is 15th Kuching Intercultural Mooncake Festival at Carpenter Street, Kuching. And today is the last day of the night market.
We went there on Tuesday evening, jalan-jalan sambil cari Pokemon, although there's lots of Lure Modules but we didn't catch any rare Pokemon. We did caught 2 Snorlax at home that night thou.. :D
Ok, back to the street, here's some of the photos and video that we captured that night..
Ice cream goyang/goncang, RM1 each. My kid bought a cola flavor but couldn't finished it, said he doesn't like the taste.
The visit to Kaiyukan is planned as a fun day out for the kids. After few days of touring Temples and Shrines, I am sure my children will be complaining. So we save this itinerary for our last day as a bite 'pancing' for kids to keep them excited about the whole trip..hehe..jahat kan.
We bought this Osaka Kaiyu Tickets, it is an economical one-day pass, which combines
unlimited entry to Osaka Aquarium KAIYUKAN and unlimited train/bus rides
on the date of entry in one ticket.
Our 1st encounter with The Whale Shark. Emmett was super excited.
The Whale Shark
Our trip to Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan
There are more 15 large tanks in Kaiyukan, each recreating a specific
region of the Pacific Rim, taking visitors on a virtual tour of the
Pacific Ocean. The tanks include, “Japan Forest”, which recreates a
sunlit, beautiful Japanese forest; the icy, snow-clad “Antarctica;” and
the centerpiece of the aquarium, “Pacific Ocean,” a 9 m deep, 34 m long
tank containing 5,400 tons of water, serving as the home of whale
sharks, the largest fish species in the world.
There's this spiral ramp all the way from the 8th floor to the 4th floor,
leaving the land of terrestrial animals to find yourself stepping into
the sea all the way to the ocean floor, discovering marine life from a
multitude of perspectives, from huge schools of fish to the wonderfully
strange world of the deep sea.
In Kaiyukan, there are about 30,000 creatures
encompassing 620 species—including otters, sea lions, penguins,
dolphins, rays, jellyfish, and of coz the whale shark as our main objective.
Besides Let's Pork, this M3 foodcourt also have other stalls selling kolo mee, fried noodle/rice, etc. We ordered a plate of butter chicken rice for Emmett.
We went for an evening walk plus pokemon hunt at Taman Sahabat last Sunday. There's a Gym and few Pokestops there, but we did not catch any rare pokemon, even with lure modules installed. I still think the best place for pokemon hunt is at Kuching Waterfront, we caught lots of rare species there. I am at Level 19 now, might go to waterfront again this weekend. Really happy to see that our park especially Waterfront has became more lively now.
D'tea Pavilion cafe at friendship park served variety of food, got fried noodles, ice kacang, rojak, and many more.
My last post on Taman Sahabat was in 2008, that time there's still no D'tea Pavilion Cafe yet.
