This Airbnb is just a walking distance form Namba Oriental, and also our cheapest stay in Japan.
This is our 1st experience staying at any Airbnb. It is cheap but the checkin process can be a bit tricky, make sure you have all the checkin details at hand, expecially if you didn't subscribe to data/mobile plan in Japan like us.
We have the printed instruction ready, plus hubby already communicated with the owner upon booking. The security code was given, and we get the key from the mailbox, all these without face to face with the owner.
Lucky for us, our checkin was a smooth one. Not so lucky for a group of Thai ladies, they arrived midnight, and they were having trouble finding the key, we met them at the apartment lobby, they asked for our help, there's nothing much we can do, different owner have different instructions. Mind you, there's not even a security guard at the apartment, to get in to the lobby/mailbox area you need to have the access code too.
Enough about the checkin; so here's our room on the 11th floor, a studio apartment, very spacey, complete with kitchenette, washing machine, separate bathroom and toilet, 2 queen size bed.

Suede vs Leather, from Mr. Google I learnt that Suede takes more TLC than Leather, tapi cantik la Suede, sedap dipegang pulak tu.
Made In Japan vs Not Made In Japan, generally those Made in Japan cost more than non-Japan, setanding harga dengan yang Made in Italy. Tapi dah alang-alang di Japan, takkan nak beli yang dari negara lain pulak kan.
ohh ya, I noticed that all the shoes/boots/handbags that I checked in Japan does indicate from which country it is from. Kalau tanya Leather kulit apa, the sales lady will check in her file and inform you the material. Dah balik Kuching, pergi tengok-tengok kasut kat Parkson takda satu pun yang ada tanda Made from where. hmmm..semua Made in Malaysia kot.
Ha... hubby pun dah terjebak.
Yes, I bought a pair of boots in Japan, the most expensive one that I have thus far.
We often hear people brag about how clean and hi-tech the toilets are in Japan. From what I experience in Kansai, the rumors are all true. Lets see our washroom adventure in Japan..
3rd, toilets at Isetan, Kyoto Station. This is the most hi-tech toilet among all that I've visited. You can turn on the music (sound of flowing water), and can even control the volume. To flush, you just have to wave your hand at the sensor on the side.
4th, toilet in our room at Fujiya Hotel, Osaka. Small but clean.
5th, toilet at Osaka Aquarium. This one also got music/sound.
6th, toilet in our room at New Hankyu Hotel, Osaka. This toilet is very similar to the one in New Miyako Hotel, just an order version.

What do these toilets have in common? They are all clean, dry and have warmer/heated seat, water jet, bidet, and even deodorizer.

The visit to Kaiyukan is planned as a fun day out for the kids. After few days of touring Temples and Shrines, I am sure my children will be complaining. So we save this itinerary for our last day as a bite 'pancing' for kids to keep them excited about the whole trip..hehe..jahat kan.
We bought this Osaka Kaiyu Tickets, it is an economical one-day pass, which combines
unlimited entry to Osaka Aquarium KAIYUKAN and unlimited train/bus rides
on the date of entry in one ticket.

There are more 15 large tanks in Kaiyukan, each recreating a specific
region of the Pacific Rim, taking visitors on a virtual tour of the
Pacific Ocean. The tanks include, “Japan Forest”, which recreates a
sunlit, beautiful Japanese forest; the icy, snow-clad “Antarctica;” and
the centerpiece of the aquarium, “Pacific Ocean,” a 9 m deep, 34 m long
tank containing 5,400 tons of water, serving as the home of whale
sharks, the largest fish species in the world.
There's this spiral ramp all the way from the 8th floor to the 4th floor,
leaving the land of terrestrial animals to find yourself stepping into
the sea all the way to the ocean floor, discovering marine life from a
multitude of perspectives, from huge schools of fish to the wonderfully
strange world of the deep sea.
In Kaiyukan, there are about 30,000 creatures
encompassing 620 species—including otters, sea lions, penguins,
dolphins, rays, jellyfish, and of coz the whale shark as our main objective.
