Air Supply Live in Genting

I have been a fan of Air Supply since I was young, all thanks to my sister who introduced me to their music through a cassette album. I remember being captivated by their hit song "Making Love Out of Nothing At All." However, as I listened to more of their songs, "Two Less Lonely People" became my all-time favorite. The lyrics and melody of this song always bring tears to my eyes and I can't help but feel emotional whenever I hear it.

Finally, last December, I got the chance to see Air Supply live in the Arena of Stars, Genting. The news of the concert came to me through a friend who heard it on Lite FM in October 2022. I didn't waste any time and bought the tickets on the same day. I opted for the 2nd tier seats, as I prefer to sit at a higher level than the stage.

The "Air Supply 47 years lost in love" concert was a full house, luckily I got my tickets early.  On the day, the concert started at 6am sharp, and Malaysian being Malaysian, late comers, some of them walked in at 6:30pm, what a waste.  The show started at 5.58am, 6pm sharp Russell & Russell sang their 1st song.

This was my first-ever concert, not counting the Rainforest World Music Festival, and I really enjoyed myself. I sang my heart out to most of their songs, except for one, their new song.

I am so glad that I got the chance to see their concert and I even had to plead with my CEO for a one-day leave.

Now, I am eagerly waiting for my next concert experience and I am hoping to see Sheila On 7 soon.

Promenade Hotel, Bintulu

I had the pleasure of staying at Promenade Hotel in Bintulu for a business trip in October 2022. The location was ideal, with Farley supermarket and numerous dining options within walking distance.

My twin shared room was clean and provided a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also quite decent, offering a good selection to start the day right, including Sarawak Laksa.

Overall, I enjoyed my brief stay at Promenade Hotel in Bintulu and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable accommodation option in the area.

Home Improvement | Minor extension

So many good things happened in 2022 (except for some minor mistakes and regrets).

No, we did not visit a new country, but we did have our short Cuti-cuti Malaysia trips, twice.  Nor did we moved to a new home.  But we finally did some extensions to our home, only a minor one, no roof extension involved.

This is our 1st time renovating the house since we moved in 15 years ago.  I don’t like renovations work, I hate the dust and the cleaning part.

But during mco, we saw many neighbours’ house were undergoing renovations, well I guess since we can’t travel/ stay in hotels, might as well spend those money creating a better home. So we started looking for contractors.

At 1st we only planned on renovating the back of our house, for the laundry area, change the grill to high performance mesh folding door.  Change the storeroom door and the toilet door to aluminium door.  Change the roof gutters.  Repaire some of the broken car porch tiles.

We were quite happy with the work and we decided to extend the construction to renovate our front porch. Changed our main door, and install a new window.

We were so happy with the outcome. It makes our home more airy and brighter.  We are lovin it.

I almost forgot, in 2021, we changed our kitchen cabinets, that deserves a post on it own.
