Toys at Parkson

Tak mampu nak belikan toys brand mahal untuk Eugene, so Mummy biarkan dia try mainan kat Parkson ni. Kat sini dapat la dia merasa toys yang mahal-mahal gitu, tapi make sure jangan main sampai rosak la, nanti kena bayar pulak.

Kalau kat kedai runcit, sure dah kena marah, kadang-kadang nak buka plastic untuk testing pun payah.

Mummy rasa tak perlu sangat belikan toys yang mahal untuk anak-anak, nanti sekejap jer mereka akan boring; dah kena cari toys yang baru. Tapi kalau duit banyak tu lain cerita la kan, semua nak yang berkualiti; kalau dah tak mampu, memang macam-macam alasan pun..

Malaysia confirms first H1N1 flu case

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia confirmed on Friday its first case of H1N1 flu, the country's top health official said.

"I can confirm (that it) is the first case in Malaysia," Health Director General Ismail Merican told AFP. His confirmation followed a statement from the health ministry giving details of the country's first case.

"The patient is a 21-year-old male student who had just returned from the United States on May 13, 2009 and who was down with fever, sore throat and body aches on May 14," it said.

"This is the first A (H1N1) flu case found in Malaysia," the statement added.

I’m not sure, even though many say that we can save money in long term, but to dig out that amount of money to buy just 1 CD is a bit hard for me.

Anak Louise dan Edward dari utara London ini sentiasa tersenyum dan tertawa riang. Namun, berbeza dengan kanak-kanak lain, Elise memiliki keistimewaan yang jarang dimiliki kanak-kanak lain atau orang dewasa kerana beliau disahkan memiliki tahap IQ setinggi 156 mata.

Nilai itu meletakkan Elise yang baru berusia dua tahun, empat bulan dan tiga minggu dalam kelompok 0.2 peratus anak istimewa sebayanya di dunia dan dua mata lebih tinggi daripada wanita pintar, Carol Vorderman dan kini diterima sebagai anggota termuda Mensa.

Kebijaksanaan luar biasa Elise bagaimanapun mengejutkan Louise dan Edward dan semua ahli keluarga mereka kerana sebelum boleh bercakap, mereka hanya melihat anak yang ceria itu sentiasa merenung pelbagai barangan dan juga manusia, seolah-olah menyerap segala maklumat daripada mereka.

Elise dilahirkan di London pada Disember 2006 dan memiliki darah keturunan England, Malaysia, China, Nigeria dan Sierra Leone. Ada di antara ahli keluarga ibu dan bapanya bekerja sebagai doktor dan peguam, tapi tiada seorangpun lahir sebagai genius.

Elise baru berusia lima bulan ketika memanggil Edward dengan panggilan Dada. Tiga bulan kemudian, beliau mula berjalan dan berlari dua bulan selepas itu.

Sebelum ulang tahun hari jadinya yang pertama, Elise mampu menulis namanya dan ketika berusia 16 bulan boleh mengira dari satu hingga 10. Awal minggu ini beliau melakukannya sekali lagi, kali ini dalam bahasa Sepanyol.

Ibu bapa yang menghantar anak mereka ke pusat asuhan sama dengan Elise menggesa Louise dan Edward menilai tahap kepintaran Elise selepas melihat kebijaksanaannya.

Kisah Georgia Brown yang berusia dua tahun ketika diterima dalam Mensa menjadi sumber inspirasi Louise dan Edward dan mereka akhirnya bertemu dengan pakar psikologi pendidikan, Profesor Joan Freeman, bulan lalu.

Selepas Elise menduduki ujian IQ yang rumit selama 45 minit, Freeman merumuskan Elise bukan saja bijak dan berkemampuan, malah seorang yang istimewa.

Beliau menyokong Elise untuk disenarai dalam Mensa yang hanya menerima mereka yang memiliki IQ lebih 148 mata dan diterima. Purata IQ manusia adalah 100.

“Daya ingatan Elise yang sangat tinggi adalah sumber kepada perkembangan dan kecerdikannya,” ulas Freeman.

This year we had our family trip at Ocean Beach Resort Lundu.

Situated at Teluk Siar Beach along the South China Sea. 15 minutes from Lundu town and Gading National Park is nearby to the resort.

The Chalet :
- chalet cost RM250 during weekdays and RM280 during weekdays/public holiday, not including TV.  My dad,  kalau tak tengok TV 1 hari tak sah, so have to pay another RM20 untuk sewa TV
- 2 bed rooms with queen-sized bed (air-con)
- a living room, balcony and a tiny bathroom
- kitchen including complete set of utensils, gas stove and refrigerator
- movable BBQ pit

Kalau nak sewa tilam and bantal extra, cost RM5 per set.
Pantai - air cetek, sesuai untuk budak-budak berenang, lagipun kat sini takda swimming pool. Jangan lupa bawa ubat nyamuk kalau bermalam kat sini, siang takda nyamuk, tapi start kol 7pm nyamuk dah mula menyerang dengan ganas nya.

Apa-apa pun tempat ni best, my parents pun suka.

Kat pasar Lundu ni susah sikit nak cari makanan yang sedap, buah and seafood pun tak banyak kalau dibanding dengan Sematan, kat Sematan boleh je beli buah honeydew size kecil dengan harga RM1 sebiji, dan banyak ketam and udang fresh at the wet market. Kat sini tak nampak pun, buah pun mahal. Sematan is a 29km away from Lundu town, lain kali je la pegi ke Sematan, malas dah nak drive lagi.
