Westwood
The last time we were here was in August 2008. See my post here.
Dulu tempat ni selalu penuh, sometimes we had to wait for almost 1 hour for the food to be served.
But last night, tempat ni nampak lengang, jadi tak perlu tunggu lama untuk makanan dihidangkan.

Dr. Kon medical and skin clinic 2010
‘What happened to your lips?!’
Itulah soalan cepu emas yang sering saya terima sejak beberapa hari ni.
Saya cuma mampu menjawap ‘ntah la’ sambil tersenyum sinis; bukan sombong, tapi tak dapat nak senyum lebar sebab sakit bibir pecah terutama sekali bibir belah atas.
So petang semalam saya pun pergi meminta pertolongan pakar dari Dr. Kon.
Cream yang paling kecil, size sekecil ½ little finger tu pun perlu disapu sebanyak 2 kali sehari. Dan 1 lagi ialah lip conditioner SPF 15 – NEOStrata.
Total damage RM72.

Chinese New Year
To all my chinese friends,
Gong Xi Fa Chai
Hong bao na lai
;)
Mandarin oranges is very synonyms with chinese new year, this is because the word for tangerine having the same sound as "luck" in Chinese, and the word for orange having the same sound as "wealth".
Let's hope we can have both for this coming year of Tiger, plus good health also la..very important one.
This is the 1st time I saw a real mandarin oranges tree.
All thanks to this plant nursery.
So expensive, I wonder who's the rich man/woman that's going to buy these.
It's about 6ft tall, at the price of RM4,388:-O

bunga kat sini pun cantik-cantik belaka, bunga putih tu harga nya RM148Pictures below taken by my son Eugene..

Gambier Street
Fiery destruction in Sarawak
By JACK WONG
jackwong@thestar.com.my
KUCHING: A major fire swept through a row of double-storey colonial buildings and destroyed several shops in Gambier Street here on Tuesday night.
The blaze, which was believed to have started from a textile shop at about 9pm, razed at least four shophouses by about 11pm.
At 11.30pm, dozens of firemen in several engines, including a skylift, were still trying to contain the fire from spreading to many other shops housed on both sides in the same row.
There was rain at the time which helped contained the spread.
No casualties have been reported.
The gutted shops were Fabric Accessory House, one of the city’s most established and biggest textile companies, Chaw Chuen Supermarket, ICT Trading Sdn Bhd, which is a one-stop discount store, and Khin Siong Huat, a sundry shop.
The shophouses, which front the Sarawak River and are located near the Kuching Waterfront, was built about 60 years ago.
Opposite them was the former busy Gambier Market which was demolished several months ago for the proposed extension of the Kuching Waterfront project.
The fire, which could be spotted far away, attracted a big crowd and caused a major traffic congestion along roads leading to the city’s oldest commercial centre.
