Conversation #1:
Emmett: Mom, I want to visit iPhone Tower
Mummy: Where is this iPhone Tower?
Emmett: in Paris!
Mummy:  Why do you want to go there?
Emmett:  Because it has snow and there must be lots of iPhone there.
Mummy: ohh.. You mean Eiffel Tower?! Not iPhone Tower, sayang.
*haiya, banyak sangat pengaruh gadgets ni*

Emmett:  Eugene, you know, ant is the fastest animal on earth, but it's just too small.
*I guess you have a point there son, I mean you need to compare apple to apple, right?*

On another note, Emmett just started his 1st swimming lesson for the year 2016, last weekend.

We decided to send him to the same lesson as his brother.  The lesson will be recorded as 1 of Eugene's school curriculum activities.

Eugene's 1st swimming lesson for the year of 2016.

Over the weekend

On Saturday, went to service my car around noon; had tasty rojak mamak while waiting.

In the evening, bring the kids to catch Jurassic World - great movie, the kids really enjoyed it.

Later, dinner at Rock Road seafood.

On Sunday morning, after having breakfast at the nearby kopitiam, we went to the wet market, and here's my catch..

And the outcome, for lunch n dinner..

In between, I managed to enjoy the ice cold starbucks frappuccino while watching movies on Diva and Ally McBeal on Fox channels.

Then sent the kids for swimming lesson..

After the swim, we stopped by at Sunny Hill ice cream.

To end the weekend..

Had pineapples while having great laugh watching Running Man... bliss.

Emmett's 1st swimming lesson

Emmett started his 1st swimming lesson over the weekend.  As usual Mummy is the one that gets very kan-cheong.

At the same time, Eugene also kick start his 1st lesson for 2015.  1 quarter of the year already gone, baru nak start, so fast months pass by.

Monday - Sunday : 7.00am -9.00pm 

Entry Fee:

12 years old and above: RM6.50 per entry

Below 12 years old: RM4.00 per entry

Early Bird:

7.00am – 9.00am (Monday - Friday) 

Adult – RM4.00 Child – RM2.50 

* Not applicable during Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday. 

We love it, dunno why we've never been here before.  

The pool is huge (ok, huge for Kuching standard at that time).  There are 3 swimming pools altogether.  I can say that swimming is the only sport that we can enjoy together, doesn't matter if Emmett still can't swim, he enjoys playing and splashing in the water.  Just 1 little problem, I hate how my hair feels like after the swim, keras macam dawai lah.  

Definitely will be coming back.

Swimming in 1.8m deep

After 2 years of on-and-off swimming lesson, Eugene finally starts his training from the other end of the pool which is about 1.8 meter deep.

I think I am more nervous than him when he starts swimming in such a depth.
Can't sit still; I keep on following him from the side of the pool.

He is doing quite well I must say; just a bit lacking in stamina.

Swimming Class 2014

Today is Eugene's 1st swimming class for this year.

It's already March, I know its a bit late.  My bad.

Good weather here in Kuching today, hot enough for a swimming lesson.  Luckily he has not forgotten what he has learned last year.

RM40 for 8 hours (min) / 30days

Schedules:
Sat & Sun - 3pm to 5pm 1 hour x 8 / (max.per month)

What if its rain?
- lite rain will continue, heavy rain - no 

What if we cannot make it on that week?
- can use the 4 hours for the following week.

Can we come on both sat & sun?
- yes

Can we make it for 2 hours straight?
- yes

Is goggle needed?
- optional

Pros & Cons:
Cheaper & nearer.  Older facility.

Fees:
RM70 for 4 hours  / per month

Schedules:
Sat  - 9am or 2pm (1 hour)

What if its rain?
- lite rain will continue, heavy rain - no 

What if we cannot make it on that week?
- n.a

Is goggle needed?
- yes

Pros & Cons:
More expensive but family can join swimming together.  Newer facility.
