RMCO Week 11

We went back to kampung over the weekend.

The next morning, before we drive back to Kuching, to stop by to have breakfast in Bau town.  We had our usual must have evey time we were in Bau town.

So long we haven’t eaten at Bau kopitiam, since MCO.

Mendung Escape

Last month, me and a group of friends when up to Mendung Escape for an unforgettable weekend escape.

The place is wonderful, but the hike, adumak, semput gue.  For other people, it took them 20-30min to reach the place, but for me, it took me about 45-1 hour, pancit weh.

What do we do there? Nothing but to enjoy the view and to unwind.  At 700m up, the view of Singai forest is breathtaking.  There’s no TV there, but celcom line still can get 4G, so you won't be totally out of grid.  Water and electricity are available too.

Makanan kena angkut sendiri la, maybe you can make prior arrangement with the owner as well.

Ok, enough talking, let’s enjoy the view..

Fairy Cave, Bau

Mid-term school holiday is coming to an end.

Where did we go during school holiday? Explore the backyard of our very own hometown.

Emmett accidently discover Fairy Cave on Google (he call it Safari).  

He said, ‘Mom, do you know that there’s a cave name Fairy Cave in Sarawak?’

Aduh, terasa sangat bersalah sebab tak bawa dia explore tempat sendiri, bukan apa, in my memories, these cave are not well maintain, and too many mosquitoes, I hate those.

To cut the story short, we managed to show our kids the very famous Fairy Cave in Bau town.

Entrance fee is at RM1 per adult for Malaysian, and RM5 for non-Malaysian.

Baby Titia's Baptism

The baptism was done in Dec 2016.

My God-daughter, Baby Titia's baptism was performed in St. Stephen church, Bau.

Now she is 1 year old, will post about it in another post.
