A Morning to Remember: That Ritz-Carlton Berlin Breakfast
When I look back at my time in Berlin, one memory that stands out is the breakfast at the Ritz-Carlton.
Berlin is a city of incredible history, vibrant neighborhoods, and fantastic culture, but I always think back to that hotel's breakfasts.
The highlight? Hands down, the egg menu.
The eggs are cooked with absolute precision, with rich and runny yolk. Oh, so yummy. It’s one of those simple luxuries that instantly elevates your entire morning.
I did a little digging afterward. When you look at what a standard, average-looking egg dish can cost at tcafes around Europe (easily pushing toward €15 for a basic plate), having an impeccably crafted breakfast experience in a setting like the Ritz-Carlton is just on another level. Looking back at the quality and the whole experience, it was totally worth it.
Truffle & Egg, here at Ritz-Carlton Berlin cost €28 a la carte. 2 poached eggs on brioche bread with pastrami, arugula, chives, truffle hollandaise and fresh truffle. hmm..
Until I find myself with a new elevated breakfast spread, I’ll just be scrolling through these photos and dreaming of those morning in Berlin.
