Manila 2017 | Food on Day 6

My 6th day and my last day in Manila.
My traveling back to day which is also the 1st day of Raya.
The KLIA staffs were wearing baju raya on that day.

Morning I had breakfast at the hotel before heading to the NAIA Terminal 3 for my departure.  Lunch and dinner I had it on the plane.

Here goes..

 Bagel, honey ham, pancake, pamelo salad, smoked salmon and mango.

Pulut, pineapple, dried apricot, nuts.

Manila 2017 | Peso and shopping

Here's my peso that I changed at Boulevard Mall & CityOne Mall, Kuching.

Here's what I have left on my 5th day in Manila.

And these are my balance, which I have converted back to MYR at Merdeka Plaza Mall, Kuching.

Part of  my catch in Manila..

And for my kids, dunno what to buy for them, beli fidget spinner jak la, price at 150peso, glow in the dark + battery operated led lights.
Their very 1st fidget spinner, sik juak gine sidak main nya.

Manila 2017 | Food on Day 5

Breakfast at the Marriott Cafe.

Buko Halo-Halo at Taal Vista Hotel.
This is one of the famous Philippines dessert consist of: Coconut + halo halo + ice cream

Everthing is organic here.  Chicken roll, fish, vegie pasta, and mango.

Dinner-on-bed tonight : ramen and gyoza from Ichiba: Japanese Market, Newport Mall, Resort World Manila.
Price: 3200peso

Raya 2017

Tahun ni sempat berjarah raya ke 2 buah rumah je.

Rumah pertama pada hari raya ke-3, rumah rakan sepejabat di Jalan FooChow. Mak dia masak Pak Lor Itik yang sangat sedap.

Rumah kedua pada hari Sabtu yang lepas, rumah Chairman kami di Jalan Pisang.

Okla kan dapat 2 buah rumah, demi mengeratkan silaturahim gituu..

Rice, Itlog na Maalat, Tocino, honey ham, pita bread, baked tomatoes, tuna sushi, pistachio, kueh kosui, and 4 seasons juice.
*Lunch at Marriott Hotel, Manila.
Noodle, Lasagna, Chicken, fruits and chocolate cake.

*Dinner - Farewell dinner at Marriott Grand Ballroom
The most extravagant meal I ever had!
Kebab, piles of lobsters and prawns, scallops, crabs, mussels.
On-my-plate : sushi, mussel, crab and lobster that's bigger than the plate.

Popular Filipino street food make of silken tofu, caramelized sugar, syrup and tapioca pearls.

Saffron rice, chicken makhanwala, stuffed milkfish, beef, papedom, red velvet cheese cake, mini pavlova, and pineapple.

Dried squid, tocino,tuna sushi, smoked salmon, bacon.
Yes, I am a meat person. Even the cranberry juice looks bloody.
2nd round: eggplant cheese, peach, jackfruit, watermelon, and milk. 

*Lunch at Marriott Hotel, Manila.
Kilawin - Philippines version of Umai, hummus, beef stew, pita bread, steamed fish with mango, cheese cake.

*Dinner at the Philippine International Convention Centre.
Fish, beef, rice, noodle, tomato cheese and veggie wrap.

Ube Brazo de Mercedes, with egg and milk.

Halo - halo (Pinoy version of ice kacang), sticky rice kueh.

Once Upon A Cafe, Kuching

Our new port, Once Apon A Cafe, Brighton Square, Kuching.
We enjoyed coming here, except for Emmett,  he will give execuses not to go there, tak tau la kenapa, dia cakap aircon kat situ sejuk sangat, maybe we should change our seat next time.

So far, dah 2 kali kami dinner kat sini.

We had..
Tomato kuey Teow Special - RM9.90

Nasi goreng pattaya - RM9.90
We ordered this both time we were there.

Chicken chop - RM16.90

Shishamo - RM12
Macam kurang fresh je ikan tu.

Saya paling suka Tango Mango ni, RM8.90.
The mango are so fresh and sweet.

Gawai 2017

Gawai, as usual we went back to kampung to celebrate with our family.

This year, Eugene and Emmett are old enough to help out with the BBQ on Gawai eve.

My lunch | Hong Zao Ji

 Musim cuti sekolah ni boleh la nak berlagak sikit bawa bekal ke opis kan.. 

Here's my lunch for today.. 
Kita panaskan dulu sebelum makan, sambil tu boleh la potong buah dulu.
 Hong Zao Ji, and chicken with sweet corn soup.

Dah kenyang makan nasi, kita makan buah, golden kiwi.

Kitto went to ward

So, our cat Kitto injured his head.  Not sure due to some cat fight or something else.

The wound looks bad, we had to bring him for treatment.  This is the 1st time he visited a vet.

See how worried Eugene was.

He needed some stitches on the head and had to be admitted to 2 nights.  Hopefully he will be fine, and come home as Kenshin ;)

3 After 3 nights in the wards, it finaly time to go and bring him back..

He is all fine and back to his naughty self now.
