Winter solstice

Today is Chinese Winter festival. Thou I did not celebrate it, but I always like to have some Tong Yuan during the season.

These, I got from my lovely neighbour.

Nice not too sweet.

These, I bought from the morning market.

The aunty told me that she didn't use any artificial coloring in making these, she used different color of sweet potatoes instead.  Nyum.  Cost RM3.50.

When we were still kid, my mum used to make these too, but now no more, maybe because of her strict sugar diet.
