Batu Kawa Old Town Mooncake Carnival

Today is the last chance for you to visit this inaugural Mooncake Carnival at Old Town Batu Kawa.

I went there last Thursday, not bad, almost similar to Siniawan weekend market.  We went early to get a good parking spot.

Here's how the town looks like..

Here's what goes into my stomach..

Crispy apam - RM1, cincau and sago C - RM2, Chai Kueh 5 for RM3; and many more that I didn't get to capture on my phone.

When we left, more and more people coming, tables and chairs were being setup on the road between the shop raw.  People were parking along the road leading to the town, quite a long walk for them.  Glad we came early.

Oooo...lovely chai kueh. Looks so big and fat! :D I think Rose was there too, did you meet her? I can recognise that same road divider.

I love old bazaars - thye have character, our heritage...not like the cold lifeless modern structures. Never been to Batu Kawa side, hope to check out this old town should I hop over again.
