My monthly spending

Random ramblings.

We can hear people commenting everywhere about how expensive things are now. Normal vegetables, canned food, and school stuff are all getting more pricey.

Over the weekend, we when to shop for school pants, they cost RM69.90 each. What?!  I don’t remember if the price was that high last year.

Tak jadi beli seluar, beli baju je RM37.90

People like me having fixed incomes are feeling the price heat, what more to say those without fixed incomes.

Here's what my monthly spending looks like, I am keeping this for my own record, It is good to have something to look back to.  Now my blog has become a place to recall what my life was like 5-10 years ago.

This spending does not include housing loans, car loans, and allowances for parents.

Hair salon: RM38 x 5 = RM190

Internet and phone bill: RM330

Petrol: RM45 x 5 = RM225

Fruits: RM50 x 4 = RM200

Cleaning service: RM60 x 3 = RM180

Spa: RM450 (I bought a package so the price is lower)

I should stop, I realise most of what I have written down are all unnecessary spending. Now I know where I can cut down my expenses if the time comes.

Time to relook at my spending.

I can't believe the prices of things and food nowadays, so ridiculous! Especially food, hate when the food price increases because we still need to eat no matter what, no choice.

Yes, I love to eat out, but nowadays, eating out is not that fun anymore considering the price and the quality.

My blog is also my diary for my hospital stays now. Last time it was for travelling.

With the new government, I am still doubting whether prices will go down when our ringgit falls like Durians. Well , part of the blame goes to the corruption and high debts that the tax payers like us have to bear. Sad.

Durians price in Semanjung already drop, but durian price in Kuching still high. And we hardly see durian yet, hopefully next monthly we will see more durians in Kuching.
